Duggar Daughters' Most Rule-Breaking Outfits
The 19 Kids and Counting family has been infamously known to ban women from wearing anything "immodest," which for the conservative Christians means any kind of pants or anything baring the knee or shoulder. Jill, Jana, Jessa and Jinger described their code of conduct in their own words in their 2014 book, Duggar fashion rules Up Duggar. We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops; and when needed, we wear an undershirt. We try to make duggar fashion rules a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hand when we bend over. Her parents, devout Christians, have strict rules that they expect their children to follow. These include not wearing pants. Her parents believe it is a sin for women to wear pants, in case it tempts men according to The Hollywood Gossip. However, Jinger has defied these rules and has been photographed wearing the banned clothing.
And boy do these Duggars have a lot to say, especially when it comes to their religion, right? At least, according to them.
As the show morphed into 19 Kids and Counting , fans got to know Jinger, as well as the many other members of the Duggar brood, quite well. When the spin-off Counting On was born in 2015, Jinger decided to join some of her siblings and take part in yet another reality television show.
