The director of the project, Rhoda Ibrahim, explained. "We provided eight one-to-one and group mentoring sessions for 34 young people, to help them develop their mindset, learn to self-regulate their behaviour, break their stereotypes, and set expectations and standards for their own future. Now the funding has been used up the group still runs activities such as kickboxing, a study group at the library and day trips during the school holidays. There are many success stories from the young people involved somali advice and forum of information this project - some went back to finish their education, some got jobs and some volunteer on other projects. Working for a better London Hamsa Abdi has even been to Parliament to promote the cause Image. Grahame Larter Hamsa Abdi is now in his first year of university, studying psychology.
